چکیده
The integration of electro and bio-catalysis offers new ways making molecules under very mild, environmentally benign conditions. We show that TEMPO mediated electro-catalytic oxidation alcohols can be adapted to work in aqueous buffers, with minimal organic co-solvent, enabling biocatalytic reductive amination using the AdRedAm enzyme. combined process a approach amine alkylation native alcohols, key bond formation chemical economy is currently achieved via precious metal-catalyzed hydrogen-borrowing technologies. electrobio transformation effective for primary secondary undergoing coupling allyl, propargyl, benzyl, cyclopropyl amines, has been use solid-supported ease operation.

N-alkyl amino acids find widespread application as highly valuable, renewable building blocks. However, traditional synthesis methodologies to obtain these suffer from serious limitations, providing a major challenge to develop sustainable alternatives. We report the first powerful catalytic strategy for the direct N-alkylation of unprotected α-amino acids with alcohols. This method is highly s...

An iron oxide immobilized palladium catalyst was prepared for the N-alkylation of amines with alcohols under base and organic ligand free conditions. Applying the optimized reaction conditions, the coupling reactions of amines and alcohols with various structures could be realized with up to 99% isolated yields. The catalysts were studied by XRD, BET, and XPS and the mechanism was studied by DF...
